We hope to share a tip or strategy for making the most of your Monday.
“[God’s] as capable of intervening in your office on Monday afternoon as [God] is in your church on Sunday morning.” – Andy Stanley, When Work and Family Collide
This week’s “Monday follows Sunday” thought:
When was the last time you wrote a handwritten thank you note? Well, today would be a good day to write another.
In ministry, we often get so busy doing ministry we forget to slow down and reflect and thank. Saying thanks is on my mind lately. I don’t think there is ever a way to say thank you enough.
So on this Monday, I invite you to stop and write three thank you notes.
1. To a mentor or friend that encouraged you to go into ministry
2. To a colleague in ministry that has walked along side you
3. To a person in your midst in which you see God planting the seeds of vocational ministry
Give thanks. Give a lot of thanks.
“Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT
